Heavy Equipment Diagnostics · UAE · All Major Brands
Fault codes are a starting point, not an answer. Mechcore carries out full electronic diagnostics on heavy equipment, going beyond error codes to identify what failed, why, and what it will take to get your machine operational again.
THE SITUATION YOU’RE IN
Heavy equipment electronics are complex. An excavator might run a dozen electronic control units talking to each other over CAN bus. A crane might have load monitoring, safety interlocks, drive systems, and communication networks all dependent on electronics working correctly together.
When one part of that system fails, the symptom that appears is often not where the fault actually is. A fault code in the engine ECU might trace back to a faulty sensor elsewhere in the network. A machine that won’t start might have a perfect engine but a failed immobiliser controller.
Generic diagnostics, the kind that read and clear codes won’t get you there. You need engineers who understand the full electronic architecture of heavy equipment and know where to look.
That’s the diagnostic work we do.
DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITIES
We diagnose the electronic control units managing engine, transmission, hydraulics, and machine functions. This includes full data parameter review, live sensor value checking, and hardware-level testing of the ECU itself.
Heavy equipment runs on communication networks; CAN bus, SAE J1939, and proprietary protocols. A single failing node or corroded connector on the network can cause widespread and misleading fault symptoms. We trace the network, identify rogue nodes, and fix the actual communication breakdown.
Erratic hydraulic behaviour: slow response, jerky movements, full loss of a function, is often traced to electronic causes. We diagnose the proportional valve controllers, pressure sensor interfaces, and hydraulic ECU boards.
Heavy equipment carries safety systems that prevent unsafe operation. When these systems fault or fail incorrectly, they lock the machine out. We diagnose overload systems, limit switches, anti-two-block systems, and safety interlock electronics.
Electrical faults: shorts, open circuits, ground faults, parasitic drains; cause symptoms that look electronic but have a physical cause. We trace these through systematic electrical testing.
Some machines can’t come to a workshop. We bring our diagnostic equipment to your site, carry out full testing on the machine, and deliver a written fault report while we’re there.

OUR DIAGNOSTIC PROCESS
You tell us the machine, the symptoms, and any fault codes displayed. The more context you provide, the better-targeted our diagnostic will be. WhatsApp a photo of the codes, that helps us prepare.
We connect to the machine’s electronic networks, scan all ECUs, capture all active and stored fault codes, and review live data parameters. This gives us the full picture, not just what the machine is reporting, but how every system is actually performing.
Most fault codes point to a symptom. We trace backward to the cause: checking sensors, wiring, connectors, controllers, and power supplies in the system chain until we locate the actual fault origin.
You receive a clear, written fault report. It names the fault, explains the cause, and outlines what repair work is required. No jargon where plain language works. No vague conclusions.
If the fault is electronic: board repair, controller replacement, sensor replacement, we carry out the repair in our workshop or on-site. If the fault requires mechanical intervention, we tell you exactly what’s needed so you can act on it
OUR EXPERIENCE
Mechcore ElectroTech Solutions grew out of hands-on experience with heavy machinery. Our founders didn’t begin in a lab; they began on sites, working directly with excavators, cranes, and heavy plant.Â
That background means our engineers understand not just the electronics, but the machines they’re mounted in.
We know how heat, vibration, dust, and hydraulic fluid contamination affect electronic systems over time.Â
We know which failure modes are common on which machine types. And we know that on a construction site or a quarry, time pressure is real.
About Mechcore
Mechcore ElectroTech Solutions is built on 11Â years of hands-on technical experience in industrial electronics, heavy equipment diagnostics, forklift systems, diesel generators, PLC automation, and electronic control systems.
Our work focuses on accurate fault finding, practical repair solutions, and reliable technical support for businesses that depend on machines, controllers, panels, sensors, and automation systems every day.
From PCB repair and ECU diagnostics to generator controls, forklift electronics, VFD faults, PLC troubleshooting, and on-site support, we help reduce downtime and keep industrial operations running across the UAE and beyond.
FAQS
es. Persistent fault codes that return after clearing almost always indicate an underlying fault that hasn’t been addressed; a failing sensor, a wiring issue, or a hardware problem in the controller. We trace the root cause, not just clear the code.
Yes. Some of the most difficult faults produce no codes, intermittent wiring issues, voltage drop problems, or ECU hardware faults that cause erratic behaviour without triggering alarms. We use live data monitoring, load testing, and electrical testing to find these.
We use a combination of professional multi-brand diagnostic tools and brand-specific software for major OEMs. For some proprietary systems, our approach is test-based rather than software-based, which often reveals faults that software alone misses.
We offer both. On-site diagnostics are available across the UAE. For machines that can be transported, our workshop is equipped for full diagnostics on removed components and controllers.
Yes, and this is a situation we see regularly. We start from scratch with our own diagnostic process, not from assumptions based on previous work. We’ll find what was missed.
Sourcing obsolete components is part of our service. We cross-reference parts, use specialist suppliers, and where a component is truly irreplaceable, we advise on the closest viable alternative.
CONCLUSION
Send us the machine details, the symptom, and whatever codes you’re seeing. Our team will review and advise on the fastest route to an accurate diagnosis, workshop or on-site.
