OEM replacement cards take weeks and cost more than they should. Mechcore repairs PLC modules, HMI panels, servo drives, and automation hardware at the board level, restoring your production system faster and at a fraction of the cost of new.
THE SITUATION
Industrial automation systems run production lines, packaging equipment, process plant, CNC machines, and assembly systems. When a PLC card, servo drive, or HMI panel fails, everything downstream of it stops.
Your options seem to be: wait for the OEM, pay for emergency shipping of a new card, or find someone who can actually fix the one you have.
We’re the third option.
Mechcore repairs PLC modules, I/O cards, drive electronics, and HMI hardware at the component level. We identify which component failed, replace it with industrial-grade parts, test the board under functional conditions, and return it, with a full service report and your program intact.
AUTOMATION HARDWARE WE SERVICE
We repair PLC CPUs, I/O cards, communication modules, and power supplies at component level to reduce replacement cost and downtime.
Supported: Siemens S7-200/300/400/1200/1500, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Modicon, Mitsubishi MELSEC, Omron, Beckhoff, B&R, Delta, Fatek, Unitronics
We repair HMI and operator panel faults including dead screens, touch issues, display faults, and communication failures.
Supported: Siemens, Proface, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Weintek, Weinview, Fuji, Omron, Delta
We repair servo drives and amplifiers used in CNC machines, robots, and automation systems.
Supported: Siemens, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Lenze, Bosch Rexroth, Parker, Panasonic, Delta, Kollmorgen
We repair VFDs and inverters used for motor speed control in conveyors, fans, pumps, and process equipment.
We repair industrial power supplies, from 24VDC control supplies to multi-rail automation supplies.
We diagnose and repair safety PLCs, safety relays, emergency stop circuits, and light curtain interfaces.
OUR APPROACH
The one thing every automation engineer worries about when sending a PLC for repair is the program. Will it come back intact? Will parameters be lost? Will we need to recommission from scratch?
Our answer: we back up the program before anything else, where the unit is functional enough to allow it. The backup is documented, stored, and restored after repair. Your ladder logic, function blocks, and parameters come back exactly as they left.
And when the unit isn’t functional enough to read, we work carefully around the memory hardware so that we protect it during the repair process.
PLATFORM COVERAGE
Don’t see your brand? Contact us. Our coverage extends beyond this list.
HOW IT WORKS
Module type, brand, series, the fault symptom, any error codes, and how it failed. The more you give us, the faster we diagnose.
Most repairs are on the module itself: CPU card, I/O card, drive, HMI not the whole panel. Remove the unit and bring it or arrange delivery to our workshop.
We attempt program/parameter backup first. Then we carry out a full electronic diagnostic, visual inspection, functional test, component-level fault identification.
Fault found, work required, cost, and estimated lead time, all in writing before we begin.
We repair using industrial-grade components. No shortcuts. Work is documented throughout.
PLCs are tested through full I/O scan cycles. Drives are run through speed and torque ranges. HMIs are tested for display, touch, and communication function.
Program restored. Report attached. Ready to reinstall.
FAQS
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons people come to us. If the OEM has discontinued the hardware and new replacements aren’t available, component-level repair is often the only viable option, and it’s what we specialise in.
Program preservation is our first concern. We back up before work begins where the unit permits it. We document the backup and restore it after repair. You are told upfront if there is any risk to the program before work proceeds.
Yes. A drive that won’t reset usually has a hardware fault that prevents normal operation. Clearing the fault through a reset won’t fix it, the fault needs to be found and repaired. That’s what we do.
Yes. In some cases, in-situ diagnostics and support are possible, particularly for network-level faults, communication issues, and software-related problems that don’t require hardware removal. Contact us to assess your situation.
Most repairs are completed within 3 to 7 working days from receipt and quotation approval. Complex multi-fault modules or sourcing of obsolete components may take longer, we advise in advance.
CONCLUSION
Tell us the PLC brand, module type, and what happened. We’ll assess it, diagnose it accurately, and give you a straight answer on repair cost and turnaround.
